I prioritize several criteria when choosing new software. In addition to looking for software that meets my needs, I look for respect for privacy, the free nature of the software, and finally the maturity of the software (a guarantee of stability).

• Github and Gitlab: Websites that host the git version of this site.
• Visual Studio Code: Code editor developed by Microsoft but under a free license (MIT). I prefer the completely free version (free of Microsoft telemetry) VScodium .
• Inkscape: Professional vector drawing software.
• Gimp: Professional software for manipulating raster images (i.e., photos).

• Firefox and its developer version: the all-purpose web browser.
• Kubuntu and Neon: Linux distributions based on Ubuntu with a KDE plasma flavor.
